hey all, just wondering if this was the server gone for good,,, or is this just asumthing wrong at the datacentre end.

only a slight technical problem tonight at the data centre - will be back up tomorrow8)

Up down shake it around, yes there was a problem with the arps on a router at the data center but now there is a problem with the main raq, rocker is going there this morning but tbh if a raq gos down its normaly fatal hardware!
So we will have a spare raq up if need be but the database with everyones xp is on the main server :( this has been trying times lattley and I have some good things planned for next months wcs server if I can ever get on there long enough to sort them out!

Ok main server nic is going flakey but is currently up, I am however putting contingency plans in place as I speak as rocker will be away for 1 week at a networking conferaance in japan, so never fear wcs will always be here!

at a networking conference? couldn't they do that over a network?

No because they always go down :p Only safe networks are the super futuristic ones in Japan which send data through psychics & & staticaly charged noodles.
