i'm thinking of getting pre-relese tickets to see this film
cant wait for it!
taking my son (6yrs old) with me and i don't know whos more excited!

i'm a bit peeved as it got an earlyer release in most of Europe before the US and of course before the UK

I'd be more excited if the director was different. I'd go as far as saying transformers helped shape my later life, being the first anime/anime-esque show i watched. My expectations of this film are quite high.

I've been waiting for this film to come out for ages. Since last year when it was first rumored to be released.
Like i always do, I already have the game, :D tbh i would recommend that.
However, I don't like the fact the modern day directors and animators change everything, you can't tell who is who anymore, well obviously you can identify optimus prime.

Does anyone know which other transformers are in it?

yeh i got this the other day and have to say really enjoyed it. Was a big fan of transformers when i was younger and they have done the series justice with this film!

But in some instances it's ok.
"How?" I hear you ask, well it's simple. For example, If i'm going through money troubles and this is due to the lack of, But all my friends are playing this 'latest game' then i will download this game and buy an official version of it when i has the moneys. Like i did with half life 2, Now i own two copys of it.

Films; I know what you're thinking now, It's not the same..... But wait.. it is!
If i download a 'pirated' film, Yes it is illigal, however it is not stealing, because they (the original person) still has that official copy of it and therefore it cannot be classed as stealing. Anyway, If i want to go see a film, lets say, Epic movie (because it's short and i can't be bothered writing) I download a copy.. (Don't lend it to my friends) enjoy it, but the 'cinima experience' is more enjoyable, i know that, everyone knows that, So i figure, if it's a good films, I'll go watch it and pay for it even if i have already seen it . Would you say this is unacceptable?

i heard that the director has recieved death threats from hardcore fans, coz he has change alot of the original characters, like bumblebee is now a mustang instead of a mk1 beetle etc

that wasn't even anything to o with the director tho!
it was the film company and the makers of mustang being pals and doing a little bit of back handed dealling

But you never know, fingers crossed he does a good job.

You can get lists of which Transformers are in the film but i agree the changes make it difficult to tell, I know some clips I've seen have Megatron in them but I couldn't tell, I assumed it was BumbleBee as it was yellow but until shotty said it was a mustang I wasn't sure. They cut my favourite, Soundwave, though I understand the makers not wanting size transformation and tape-recorders are a bit lame.

And yes it is stealing Ralph, the "original owner" doesn't have an actual copy, it's a recording from the cinema, and even if he did you don't. "Try before you buy" doesn't matter, what products can you get then only pay for it afterward if you like it? Perhaps you should be able to get your money back if the film really sucks but that'd be impossible to implement. It's the type of product. And although what you're suggesting isn't completely unacceptable, the vast majority of downloaders wont pay even if they liked it.

soundwave was the bizzle!!

Well this Transformers film is going to be the first part of a 3 parter

So expect Soundwave The Dino Bots and Maybe Unicron (i wish to c him in a film) amost others , in the next 2 parts.

I havent seen the fim yet but i really want to.

Transformers i grew up with and i love with a passion.
