Yesterday evening server #2 was running Wolf. Several people were boosting themselves up onto the roof area of various parts of the map. This allowed them to dodge incoming fire and hide completely.

I challenged one of the people exploiting (after I had fragged him :mrgreen:) and he thought it was perfectly acceptable behaviour!

What are the your thoughts on the issue?

Anyways I think abusing glitches should be made somehow non-tolerable (kick for 1st time/perm. use->ban) :yes:

While we will not come down harshly on some of the more accepted exploits on official & custom maps, for example on top of the B CP shed on gravelpit. Because its such a big exploit on wolf, that has yet to be fixed [lazy bloody map makers] we do give out warnings for jumping into those areas on wolf, if people reply with something other than 'sorry' or '' & stop doing it, they usually win themselves a kick or time ban.

I see your point and can agree that some exploits are just unacceptable. Others though add to the game in a way that was probably not expected.

However, Putting a link up for one of the 'Guilty' isn't really the way to go. I could put a HLStat link about anyone here and flame them for anything I choose. Now if I had a screen shot that would be a far better method ;)

If the admins check last nights chat logs, looking at 18:45 - 19:00, they'll have all they need.
