Also got it yesterday, though only had time to listen through it once, really liked it, and listened to the live lounge set on the Jo Whiley show on Radio 1 a couple of weeks ago which made me want the album.

Also I read an article on 'Duffy' and 'Laura Marling', another British female vocalist, and then heard 'Young Love' a song by 'Mystery Jets' featuring Laura and fell in love with it.

(As I was typing this, this song played on the radio, nifty.)

So I got the 'Laura Marling' album too yesterday, again I only listened to it twice, it's great though.

Well 'Mystery Jets' are an indie-ish band that have been around for a while, you might not have heard of them for a variety of reasons, they're a fairly popular band though as far as I know they haven't had any big hits, I'm not much of a '... Jets' fan but love the single I mentioned above featuring 'Laura Marling', which is getting a lot of radio play in the UK, especially on Radio One this past week or so. And 'Laura Marling' is fairly new, there's just been some talk about her by British music journalists given the recent surge in British female vocalists (Duffy, Adele, Amy Winehouse, ect.).

'Tis a fantastic album. The guitarist in that video is Bernard Butler of Suede and McAlmont and Butler.

I hated Mercy when I heard it and it wasn't til I heard Warwick Avenue I wanted the album so people if you don't like Mercy, try Warwick Avenue then Stepping Stone.
I saw the album to download, feel free to get it but if you enjoy it go and buy it, I did.

I'm posting here so as not to start a new thread. This is the new single called '5 Years Time' by 'Noah and the Whale', who are a new British indie/folk band. The albums out on the 11th but having heard most of the tracks IMO they sound mint! 'Laura Marling' who I posted about oon the first page of this thread sings on a few of their tracks, including this single, and appears with them in the video. Heart it!
