Night before last it played well, granary, well. tonight it played dustbowl, followed by dustbowl.
I pretty much only play on your tf2 servers, but it seems sometimes the votes go a bit funny. I'd be pretty happy if you guys just chose a cycle of whichever maps you want, for however long you want, rather than the current votey type thing which seems to occasionally go a bit woo ;)
Another opinion, if you don't mind me going on - not much point imho in enabling rtv if the percentage required is what 80 percent of the active players? I'd suggest either drop it down to say 60 percent or disable it, as it's almost never going to be achieved currently.

Ive set mapchooser to exclude the last 2 maps, see if it actualy works, you should never be able to vote for a map your playing on @ the time.
RTV is set @ 75% purely to stop idiots changing maps to often, il disable rtv see how it go's.
I'm for a straight map cycle. At least you get to play a map you like now and then. At the moment, with map voting, you're lucky as hell if you get anywhere near playing the map(s) you like, and RTV - what's the point when you need 22 - 24 players to RTV? Not even when you've been playing lazy town for what seems like forever can you get everyone to RTV to change map

I'm also for a chosen map-cycle. And RTV is completley worthless since there's always those last 2-4 people you need to change the map that never say anything. So yes, I'm all for the map-cycle idéa.
75% of 32 players = 24??????????

Devilfish thanks for having a look, and thanks for always being the chap who has a look at my whinges ;). Do you know if the 75% includes spectators? I'm guessing it does as it usually lets me join in voting when I'm speccing, that might explain why when you look at the target and the number actually playing it seems so high.
According to my sig I've played 20+ hours of tf2 this week, all of it on one of your 2 servers, same as most weeks. I can't recall ever seeing an rtv succeed, even for the map which stayed on forever when people had scores of 300+.
I saw RTV work for the first time yesterday on DOCK (which just isnt up to your usual standard of map IMO), but agree that maybe 75% is a bit high especially IF it does include spectators. Often when I play the server reads full with 32 players but there may only be 12 a side actualy playing - in this case everyone would have to RTV to make anything happen.
I dont know even if possible but maybe RTV should only be decided by actual active players (I know COD4 better as I admin 3 COD4 servers and only active players are included in the vote)
