I'm thoroughly enjoying CoD4 at the moment - when the server is full there can be some really awesome battles. Of all the multiplayer FPSes I find this one the most intense. One thing constantly gives me the arseache though - grenades! If you've got a large number of people on a small map, the game can turn into one long sequence of being blown up by grenades, interspersed with a little running around. Is there any way of limiting the map chosen at rotation time by the number of people playing?

Yeap, cod4 is all about if you cant beat em join em. If someone is kicking your ass with a gun, don't call them a noob, just use one yourself & kick back. Believe us if we could do things like limit grenades on a ranked server we probably wouldn't be having this conversation though :oops:

im with u, i get soooo fed up off stupid lamers who have no skill just throw the grenades into to the air randomly with no aiming and get loads of killz, especially on that map when ur on a ship (i cant remeber the name), i mean im all for people who use their skills with stun and nades when bounced off walls and over things fair enough thats what its all about good, but not people who just spawn then dont even look where they throw just jump + throw + and hope... only thing that really really pisses me off on COD4
...but other than that enjoyin it, + like playin SC on cod as much as cs :)
Nade spams are a problem in Xbox with 18 players...
So I can only imaging what its like with 64...
Well I'm gonna get CoD4 later this month so should be fun...
I'd imagine with 32people per team, managing to stay alive long enough to get an airstrike would lead to at least 10 kills...
