Well it's now legal to listen to Christmas songs, so what's the first one you'll be playing this year?
Fairytale of New York by The Pogues is high up there in my list.
Also, I'm quite liking I wish it could be Christmas Everyday by Wizzard too! Right gets me in the mood for Christmas that one!
But lets just face it, In Dulce Jubilo by Mike Oldfield is just class! :D
The pogues win it everytime for me... If your in Barnsley Xmas Eve come along to The Keel public house and you will see my Karaoke perfomance of that song LIVE. I sing it on my own cos no-one else will attempt it, leaves me a little short of breath, but boy does the Guinness taste better after it.

Christmas Wrapping by the Waitresses along with Fairytale of New York are 2 of the best imo. But if you want cheese then Mudd and Lonely this Christmas is top

Yeah. Fairytale of new York, hands down.
Though I like to play 'what child is this' aka 'greensleeves' on guitar towards christmas as it is very nice on guitar. I'll youtube a copy for you guys or something at some point.

Eurythmics's : There must be an angel (playing with my heart)
Not strictly a Christmas song..........
Christmas is certainly my favourite time of year, but I have to say the only part I really don't like is the music. The Pogues - Fairytale of New York, Bing Crosby - White Christmas, Nat King Cole - The Christmas Song and a couple of others are good songs, but the overplayed crap like Band Aid, Wizzard and the streams of other cash-in pop tunes that get rolled out every year really irritate me. Barhumbug!
The "heavy" version of Varpunen Jouluaamuna (The Sparrow's Christmas Morning) is ok. Sung by Marco Hietala (Nightwish, Tarot).
